It's about the Torchwood team and it was blown all to hell. They killed it. They being the writers. So I guess there isn't going to be a 4th? or whatever season after this and well GOOD. But it was such a good show and they just bastardized it all. I'm so mad. I really loved Torchwood and as far as I'm concerned, it only had 2 seasons. I'm going to delete COE from the records and never think of it again as cannon. It was like some strange parallel world. Who the HELL came up with the plot. It was just so...I think even Hannibal LECTER would be affronted.

Well, not much has been going on in my neck of the woods.

I went to Best Buy today and got 4 wireless cordless phones so I'll be able to use my magicjack more readily. Now if I can just sort out the voicemail... Soon I'll have the magicjack set up with my old laptop just as soon as I can get a monitor connected to it. For some reason it always thinks the screen is down/closed so it's never on. I just need a cheep one. Any one have ideas? I also got a new external hard drive since my old one is caputs. I have a 1000 GBs (1 TERABYTE). For $110. I'm so happy. This computer has...18.5 GB free out of 184. I swear I thought I had 250 GB on here. But no matter. I have ONE TERABYTE. And it will be filled with awesome.

I also have...ants. Not a swarm...but still ants. They seem centered in the front hall area and that is where I want them to STAY. I need to call the vets and see about ant prevention with cats. I don't want to hurt my kitties. Chalk does NOT work. Lies, all lies! Any one else know of harm free ways to get rid of ants?

Got my phone checked out by Sprint and it failed a major test. It doesn't recieve/transmit something or other while boiled down to WHY it never really works. It's just over a year old. So I have to wait until February to get a new one or I can get $75 towards a new phone. Which isn't all that much since most phones, good ones, run up to $250.

Started watching Season 4 of Smallville. Still amazing. Amazing acting. Amazing writing. It can be cheeky and campy and I love it. Library only has up to Season 6. I have to catch up to season 8 before season 9 airs this fall. *ponders dilemma* Oh, wait. Ann Arbor's library only has up to Season 6. Ypsi takes the cake, albeit a much longer wait, but does have Season 7.

It's 80 degrees upstairs. And the AC is ON. Downstairs it's about 70 or so the thermostat SAYS. I HATE my AC. It never makes the cold air go upstairs in the summer and never makes the heat go upstairs in the winter. When I called the guy last year about this problem he said to change filters and keep the valves the right way. Check. Check. And he hosed down the AC unit outside. I can't do that. I don't have a hose and that hose will have to go THROUGH my house to go outside since the spicket is in the garage. Who thought of that?

I'm over 1/2 though Smallville 3rd season. LOVE it. Ann Arbor library is so much faster then Ypsi.

Well, I got a prescription for some burn cream and was told to put some gauze over it. She was a bit confused on how or why it was so bad. I wasn't on any meds that would make me more "allergic" to the sun and it wasn't looking like an over reaction to the sun like a rash. But it wasn't so serious as I thought. Also, she gave me an inhaler to maybe help with my chronic coughing. I hope it helps. Two puffs and four times a day! Yikes! I'll try anything to get me to stop this annoying cough.

Shoulder pain is down considerably, but moving it still irks me.

Now I am going to sit back and do NOTHING for a while. It is too hot. My AC never really makes it to my upstairs. It may be 70 downstairs but it is...75 78 upstairs (my room is a bit cooler since it is dark and closed off). I think I'm due for a nap. I love Katherine dearly but every time she went to the bathroom in the middle of the night it woke me up. I slept better at Machinac Island. Go figure.

We are back from Machinac Island! We got to ride horses (pelvic bone will never be the same again), do lots of walking/hiking, see the old Fort and had a really good time. It was also the Lilac Festival so we got to see the Blessing of the Dogs and Horses. Very cool. Hotel was great and the free breakfast was also good. Felt a little sick to my stomach before we left but it passed before we went on the boat back. So that was good. Almost got into an accident on the way back. Someone decided they wanted THAT parking spot right in front of me. From the Right lane. I was in the left. So they just zipped right in front of me like I wasn't even there. They even swore back at me when I honked my horn and yelled at them like it was MY fault I nearly ran into them. WTF? Driving back people were not obeying the laws of the road to pass on the left. I was passing SO many people in the right lane. Once I even had to speed up to get past someone holding up a HUGE queue of traffic. That way they could get around me and then around this person.

I found pumpkin butter on the island and chocolate covered cherries that are just DIVINE.


Shoulders are Bad. Left one in particular. It just loots horrible. I'm calling the doctors tomorrow to see what can be done As Eric put it, it looks like I just escaped from a radio-active fall out zone. Right one just looks like dried out skin. Still feels funny. Left one hurts like hell. The skin is so dry it is stretched out over my shoulder so moving it cracks it more. Putting anything on it makes it BURN like hell. So I'm not.

Now I am very tired.

Tomorrow we head off to Mackinac Island. We'll be there until Sunday Afternoon. We'll have no internet! Oh noes!

Cristobal has a growth on his chest. I took him in to see Dr. Smith and they shaved him, gave him a local anesthetic shot and cut it out. It looks benign but I'll have to keep watch to make sure it doesn't grow back or get worse. Poor little kitty. He was so good at the vets.
